India Soon To Receive Mazda Cars

The Japanese car giant Mazda is gearing up for an entry into the Indian roads with its latest range of cars. The company has won fame for Mazda cars injected with Wankel Rotary Engine. The growth of Indian car market has envisaged the company to penetrate well as already the company"s brands have reached 1.2 million owners in the global markets.

The President and CEO of the company said the company has a bouquet of cars under Mazda -2 and sedans ideally suitable for the growing Indian market. He added that Mazda range will fit for the Indian customers whose preference is for compact and fuel efficiency. Yet, the company focuses on the highly penetrating hatchback segment to counter the likes of Maruti Swift, i20 from Hyundai and Polo from VW. In addition the company will launch luxury cars in due course, it is learnt. The Indian entry, according to the CEO"s statement, will either be on a JV or as an independent subsidiary with the nature of cars to be dealt with.
