Tata Ace Gold+ Diesel Mini Truck Launched At ₹5.52 Lakh - 900kg Payload Capacity
Tata Motors has introduced a new addition to its mini-truck lineup with the launch of the Tata Ace Gold+ Diesel, priced at ₹5.52 lakh ex-showroom. The new model becomes the most affordable diesel variant in the Ace Gold+ series and is aimed at small businesses and urban fleet owners.
The Tata Ace Gold+ Diesel is powered by a Dicor diesel engine paired with Lean NOx Trap (LNT) technology. This setup enables compliance with Bharat Stage VI norms without the use of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), which simplifies operations and reduces recurring input costs.
The engine produces 22 PS of maximum power and 55 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a manual transmission tuned for stop-start city traffic and frequent load cycles. Tata has designed the drivetrain for reliability in daily commercial use while maintaining lower operating requirements.
Payload capacity for the Tata Ace Gold+ Diesel is rated at 900 kilograms. The vehicle is offered in different load-deck configurations, giving operators choices that suit cargo applications including retail, e-commerce, agriculture, and construction supply runs.
The Ace platform has been a cornerstone in Tata's small commercial vehicle portfolio since its launch in 2005. More than 25 lakh units have been sold in India, with the model evolving into diesel, petrol, CNG, and electric variants. The new Tata Ace Gold+ Diesel expands this portfolio further.
