Ultraviolette X47 Now More Affordable With New Battery Flex BaaS Plan
Indian EV two-wheeler startup Ultraviolette Automotive has introduced a new Battery Flex (BaaS) program for the Ultraviolette X47, aimed at making the motorcycle more accessible and affordable for customers at just 1.49 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Known for its innovation and advanced EV technologies, the company has launched this Battery-as-a-Service initiative in partnership with Ecofy, a green-focused non-banking financial company, to offer greater flexibility and reduce the upfront cost for buyers.
Ultraviolette X47 Crossover BaaS Program
With the introduction of this program, Ultraviolette's electric motorcycle becomes more accessible to a wider group of buyers by offering greater flexibility and improved cost efficiency. The initiative is also expected to help accelerate EV adoption among new riders. The Ultraviolette X47 is now available at a starting price of ₹1.49 lakh (ex-showroom) with a subscription cost of ₹2,499 per month under the Battery Flex plan.

Ultraviolette X47 Crossover Specs
The Ultraviolette X47 Crossover is equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed range of up to 323 km. The motorcycle is available in two variants, producing 40.2 hp of power and 610 Nm of torque, and can achieve a top speed of 145 km/h.
It also features several advanced technologies, including UV Hypersense Radar technology, which supports safety features such as rear collision warning, lane change assist, overtake alert, and blind-spot monitoring. Other highlights include front and rear cameras, a 5-inch TFT display, longer-travel suspension, and a cast aluminium subframe.
The introduction of Battery Flex aims to make performance-oriented electric mobility more attainable for riders across India, while maintaining the brand's focus on innovation and riding performance. Customers can purchase the motorcycle with just 40% upfront cost, while the battery is offered through a subscription plan.
After the subscription period ends, battery ownership will be transferred to the customer at no additional cost. The program will be available starting March 5, 2026, allowing buyers to access the motorcycle with greater financial flexibility.
