2014 Peugeot RCZ R First Production Images Out
Peugeot has released detailed images of the production 2014 Peugeot RCZ R coupe ahead of Friday's Goodwood Festival Of Speed. The RCZ is the most powerful production car ever coming out of the French automaker's stable. The sports coupe was first revealed at the Paris Auto Show last year.
Till now we had to contend ourselves with the black and bronze coloured model, which the concept car sported. With the images of the production model we get our first glance at a deep red RCZ. Peugeot sports coupe is a car which you will either love or totally hate. Go through the gallery below and decide what you think about it.

Noticeable immediately are the ‘R' badge on the front grille, which now appears on the boot lid as well.

On the rear, the tail lamps have been given black surrounds, which was not seen on the concept model.

Also new on the rear is a stripe of LED brake lamp, right below the rear spoiler.

The production model does not change its internals, retaining the 1.6 liter turbocharged inline four cylinder engine, delivering 270 HP and 243 lb-ft. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

The RCZ R can achieve 0-100 km/h in 5.9 sec and top speed is restricted to 250 km/h.

We get the first look at the interior of the RCZ R with this image. The interior is mostly blacked out. Seen are Alcantara trimmed leather seats. The dual tone colour scheme is continued inside with red accent stitching. The doors and the dash are covered in the same black leather as well.

Right beside the hand brake lever,on the center console is a prominent ‘R' logo crafted on brushed aluminium plate. The same ‘R' logo is also embedded on the front seat headrests.
