Rolls Royce Celestial Phantom Gets A Diamond Studded Makeover
If you remember, at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September 2013 Rolls Royce presented the one-off Celestial Phantom. It was a very special Phantom created by Rolls Royce to celebrate a successful decade of being under BMW administration.
What's special about the Celestial Phantom is its Starlight Headliner - the Phantom's ceiling that's dotted with thousands of fiber optic lights. Only in the Celestial Phantom these lights are arranged to mimic the night sky on January 1st, 2003.

Normally, any one-off make is left alone considering they are already very special. But not Rolls Royce. At the ongoing 2013 Dubai Motor Show the British automaker has displayed the Celestial Phantom yet again, but its even more precious this time - literally.

The door-cappings, centre console lid and rear-privacy divider are studded with 446 diamonds, each one of them put there by hand.

So why would Rolls Royce take the trouble of making an already special car even more special? In their own words. "The Middle East is the largest market for Bespoke in the world and in celebration of this we sought to create something truly special for the Dubai International Motor Show. Every Rolls‑Royce is crafted with only the finest materials, extending the Celestial Phantom's starry night theme with one of the rarest and most precious commodities in the world." said Torsten Müller‑Ötvös, CEO, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Besides the diamond studded Celestial Phantom Rolls Royce has also displayed the Phantom Coupé Chicane - designed to "evoke Goodwood's rich motor sport history" and sporting carbon fiber interiors; Alpine Trial Centenary Collection - A limited edition Ghost that pays tribute to 1913 Alpine Trials cars. Besides the special edition cars the company also debuted the Wraith in the Middle East.
