Tata Nano catches Fire Again, Now In Chennai

The news of the Tata Nano catching fire has become viral on the internet after a Youtube user whose id is samrao69 uploaded a video of the Nano catching fire by itself with smoke engulfing the car completely. The video clearly shows the registration number of the starts from TN (Tamil Nadu) and we believe the video was shot in Chennai.
The video starts with smoke coming out of the Nano's rear end and fire slowly beginning to engulf the car. The second video has the Nano completely in fire. It is yet unclear when the video was shot. Repeated attempts to contact the video's uploader has not borne any results.
This is probably the tenth Nano that has caught fire by itself from the day of its launch. Yet Tata Motors has not made an official statement or even explain the reason behind these incidents. The only line that Tata Motors has managed to give is that it had investigated the case and had found no fault in the car.
It is most unlikely that all the Nanos that caught fire were victims of voluntary sabotage. These incidents are not stray events and it is high time that Tata Motors takes a cue from these incidents of burning Nanos and begin a thorough investigation.
We can say Tata has been very lucky here in India as the country does not have stringent vehicle safety norms as in Europe or the USA. Even a possibility of a fire in a car is considered dangerous and would have lead to a complete recall of the model to find out the cause of a fire. If reports about the central government formulating a new stringent Motor Vehicles Act are true, then Tata Motors must brace itself for a serious investigation of the Nano.
On a lighter note Tata Motors must give a fire extinguisher free to all Nano buyers as an incentive for buying a highly flammable car.
