Roberto Cavalli Designed Exotic Mini Life Ball

This flamboyant Mini Paceman is the work of Florence based fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, who unveiled it in Vienna's Hofburg Palace last week as part of the Life Ball 2013 AIDS Charity event. The Paceman was donated by Mini for the annual Life Ball AIDS charity event as it has been doing since 2001. The Life Ball MINI 2013 was later auctioned, the money raised from which be utilized for combating AIDS.

Designed by Roberto Cavalli, the Mini Paceman features the Cavalli logo on the roof. In signature Cavalli style, the Mini wears a special iridescent paint, which is exclusively used in Cavalli's own personal fleet of cars. This paint alternates between black and brown depending on the light incident on it. Then there is the attention grabbing gold paint that covers the roof, wheels and other body trims.

The interior is mostly back, with contrasting golden stitching, dashboard instrument highlights and other gilded elements. The extravagant design is further highlighted by the use of the hallmark Cavalli animal prints on the leather-lined steering wheel and parts of the instruments.
