Ford India March Sales Report 2014
Ford has been doing good in terms of sales figures in 2014. In the month of March, 2014 the car manufacturer sold 6,356 vehicles in India, which is an increase of 21% in sales.
Ford also exports cars from India and in the month of March they exported a total of 5,449 vehicles from India. It has also won numerous awards from the automotive sector.

In March 2013 Ford India recorded combined sales of domestic and export vehicles at 7,499 units. This year Ford reported an increase of 57% in March, 2014. Their combined sales figure were 11,805 units.
Ford is aiming to make India the centre of manufacturing of most of their vehicles. They have currently increased their output to 5,449 from the earlier 2,228 vehicles in 2013.
Executive director of Marketing, Sales and Service at Ford India, Vinay Piparsania explains,"Cautious is how we should define the first quarter of 2014. The excise duty reduction has definitely been a positive step."

He further added,"As India gets set to vote, we look forward to such industry-friendly initiatives being sustained to support the important automotive sector."
Ford has been viewed as a brand which produces contemporary, stylish and versatile looking cars. The cars also are great value propositions.
Their Urban SUV Ford EcoSport has won over 30 awards from the automotive sector. The SUV has achieved this feat within a year from its launch, no other car has tasted this type of success.
