Tata Zest: Ranjangaon Plant To Handle production Of Compact Sedan
Ranjangaon in Maharashtra is home to the manufacturing facility that's jointly operated by Tata Motors and its former partner in India, Fiat. This plant is home to models like the Linea and Punto and Tata Motors' 90PS Vista hatchback and Manza.
However, going forward, there will be a few changes in the production line. While Fiat will continue producing its sedan and hatchback models, Tata Motors is soon likely to stop producing the Manza sedan.

It's place will instead be taken by the Zest, the new compact sedan that's based on the Bolt hatchback. Despite based on the Bolt, the Zest still shares several components with its predecessor, Manza, which will let it continue on the same production line.
Tata Bolt, on the other hand, will be made at the company's Pimpri-Chinchwad facility in Pune, alongside its other hatchback brethren, the Vista and Indica.
The Tata Zest and Bolt models will be powered by the Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre Quadrajet diesel engine, though in different states of tune, and the new 1.2-litre turbo Revotron petrol engines.
