Book The Datsun redi-GO On May 1, Only For Rs. 5,000
Datsun India has officially announced that bookings for redi-GO will open from May 1, 2016, pan India. Dealerships will be accepting Rs. 5,000 per booking across India. The redi-GO is expected to be priced between Rs. 2.5 lakh to Rs. 3.5 lakh ex-showroom.
Customers that pre-book their redi-GO will receive deliveries as early as June 2016. Datsun India is also accepting online bookings through Snapdeal e-commerce website. The redi-GO by Datsun India is being positioned as an urban-cross model for India.
An app was also introduced at the global debut of redi-GO. The Datsun India App will also be accepting pre-bookings for the model. Several important news and stories will also be shared through the Datsun app, which is available exclusively on Google Play Store.
Powering the redi-GO will be a 0.8-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine. So far, Datsun India has not divulged in performance and fuel efficiency figures of the model. The engine will only be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, which will be later on followed by an optional AMT system.
Once launched the Datsun redi-GO will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, Renault Kwid, Hyundai Eon, and even the Tata Nano to an extent. We wonder if Datsun could replicate a similar story which was experienced by Renault when they launched their Kwid model in India.
