Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Hellcat Confirmed For 2017

Jeep's CEO has let the cat that every one knew about out of the bag - the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Hellcat will soon be reality.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Hellcat has been floating about in the automotive rumor mill for a while and the Jeep CEO Mike Manley told vvuzz.com that the new SUV can be expected before the end of 2017.

The Hellcat engine is a 6.2-litre Hemi V8 with 2.38-litre twin-screw supercharger running at 11.6 psi of boost that produces 697bhp and 881Nm of torque.

The Hellcat powered Grand Cherokee SRT is expected to bear the name Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
