Audi Targets 30 Percent Electric Vehicle Sales By 2025
German car manufacturer Audi is aiming to sell around 30 percent of electric vehicles by 2025.
Electric cars are said to be the future of the automobile industry. Several car manufacturers across the globe are working on the development of the EVs.
German car manufacturer Audi is also striving to utilise Volkswagen Group's technology for the development of the electric vehicles. Audi aims to introduce electric vehicles in the coming years.

Earlier in April, Audi partnered with Porsche to develop future vehicle architecture. As part of this collaboration both the companies will also develop common platforms for electric vehicles.

By developing a common vehicle platform, Audi aims to increase the competitiveness of its electric cars compared to its rival manufacturers.

Audi wants to convert one-third of its product portfolio to fully electric or partially electric vehicles by 2025. And the company also aims to sell nearly 30 percent of EVs.

Apart from the electric vehicles, the company is also focussing on the autonomous driving technology. The brand will lead the project within the Volkswagen Group to develop autonomous technology.
