Elon Musk’s Underground Tunnel Is A Perfect Solution For Traffic

In the TED conference, Musk revealed a new video showcasing his new idea. The electric skates carry the cars in a narrow underground tunnel and raise them back to the street level. The driver has to drive the vehicle to the dedicated parking spot and rest of the process will be automatic.

Musk stated that the cars could travel at a speed of 200km/h inside the tunnel. Apart from that Musk also said that the production of the Model 3 should commence in July 2017.

Musk also said that the Tesla cars would be capable of going fully autonomous by the end of this year. He stated that by the end of 2017 the car could travel from LA to New York without the intervention of driver.

Apart from that Musk also revealed the teaser of the Tesla semi truck. The company aims to introduce the truck later this year. Musk said that the truck will be like a sportscar in terms of driving dynamics.

Musk has already commenced the digging process through his Boring Company. The tunnel is outside the SpaceX headquarters in California. The tunnel is legal as it is private property. But if at all the tunnel needs to be extended then various approvals need to be obtained.
