Hyundai Teases i30 N Hot Hatch Again As Testing Gets Into High Gear
Hyundai has once again teased its upcoming i30 N hot hatchback ahead of its launch later this year.
South Korean carmaker Hyundai is kicking the testing of its upcoming i30 N hot hatchback (the first performance car from its N brand) ahead of its launch later this year.

The latest teaser from Hyundai sees the i30 N enter the corner prone and rather bumpy world of the British B-road. Putting the i30 N should help the engineers at Hyundai set up their first ever hot hatch to shrug off the bumps, curves and odd cambers that are the highlights of any British B-road.

The Hyundai i30 N will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing expected to crank out 271bhp in its craziest setup. Sending the power to the front wheels will be a 6-speed manual gearbox, which can be seen in the video. An 8-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox is expected to make its way to the i30 N sometime after its launch.
The new Hyundai is expected to sit on 19-inch alloy wheels that will be shod with Pirelli P-Zero tyres. The hot hatch is expected to sport a variable valve exhaust system. Rumours also suggest an electronic limited slip differential will be present, though we will only know for sure when the car finally hits the streets.
