Lamborghini has handed over a brand new Police-spec Huracan to the Italian Police. Read now to know about the new Lamborghini Police car.
Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has handed over the keys of the Police-spec Huracan to the Italian Police Department. The company CEO Stefano Domenicali visited the Italian Interior Minister to hand over the car.

The Lamborghini Huracan will be assigned to regular Police duties. Apart from that, the supercar will also be used for urgent deliveries of blood and organs. It's the second Huracan in the Italian Police fleet.

The Huracan features the Italian Police livery, with the Police Medium Blue paint job. The white stripes on the car distinguish the car from traditional Police cars in Rome. The car is shod with Pirelli P Zero tyres.

The Police-spec Huracan draws power from the same 6.2-litre V10 engine pumping out a massive 610bhp. The car is also equipped with a gun holster, portable extinguisher, standard police radio and hooks for the hand-held stop sign.

The front trunk of the Lamborghini Huracan is fitted with a special refrigeration system for urgent organ delivery. A defibrillator is also installed to assist in first aid.

Apart from delivering the new car to the Police. Lamborghini also moved the 2009 Gallardo Polizia from the Lamborghini Museum in Sant'Agata to the Highway Patrol Auto Museum in Rome.
