New Suzuki Swift Sport Brochure Leaked; Technical Specifications Revealed
The brochure of the Japanese-spec Suzuki Swift Sport has been leaked on the internet.
Japanese carmaker Suzuki is all set to showcase the new Swift Sport at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show on September 12, 2017.
Ahead of its world premiere the brochure of the Japanese-spec Swift Sport has been leaked on the internet. The leaked brochure reveals the technical specifications and pricing of the hot hatch.
The third-generation Swift Sport draws power from a 1.4-litre Boosterjet engine producing 138bhp and 230Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox.
The kerb weight of the new Swift Sport stands at 970kg in the manual gearbox variant and 990kg in the automatic transmission model. Under the JC08 testing, the Swift Sport delivered a mileage of 16.4km/l and 16.2km/l in the manual and automatic variants respectively.

The exterior of the hot hatch features unique styling elements with a sporty body kit. The new Swift Sport gets bigger front grille and a redesigned bumper. The headlights and tail lights remain identical to the standard model.
The rear of the car features faux diffuser and chrome tip dual exhaust setup. The interior of the hot hatch sports bucket seats, stainless steel pedals and leather wrapped steering wheel. Red accents on the dashboard and instrument cluster enhance the sporty appeal of the car.

The Swift Sport features key changes to the exterior design to distinguish it from the regular model. In India, Maruti Suzuki is expected to debut the new third-gen Swift during the 2018 Auto Expo. The Swift Sport is likely to go on sale this month in the Japanese market.
