Pacific Mall To Celebrate 71st Independence Day With A Vintage Car Show
Pacific Mall in Delhi will showcase a collection of classic cars this independence Day, along with other activities.
Delhi-based Pacific Mall is celebrating the 71st Independence Day with an Auto Arcade, showcasing seven vintage cars. This will be the first time Pacific Mall will play host to a collection of vintage cars.
The vintage cars that will be part of the Independence Day Auto Arcade are a 1938 Armstrong Siddeley, 1949 Buick Roadmaster, 1929 De Soto, 1931 Plymouth Model PA, 1929 Buick 50 L Limousine, 1952 Daimler Eighteen or Daimler DB18, and a 1936 Daimler Fifteen Sports Coupe.
Apart from the car show, Pacific Mall will also have a 20-feet high replica of the Qutub Minar. Commenting on the occasion, Salim Roopani, the Centre Director of Pacific Mall said, "Vintage Cars are a different league."
"These cars have played a significant role in shaping the social history of the land, and the world in the last 20-30 years has started taking cognizance of this fact."
