Tesla Model X Crash Tested By The NHTSA — Results Are Not At All Surprising

Two years after it c=hit the roads, the Tesla Model X has finally been put to the test by the NHTSA.

The Tesla Model X has been in production for two years now. The Elon Musk owned electric carmaker has claimed the full sized SUV is one of the safest vehicles on the road but no one has put that to the test.

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) decided to finally put Tesla's claims to the test by putting a base Model X 75D through the safety ringer. The Tesla Model X 75D passed the crash tests with flying colours and is the first SUV ever to achieve 5-Star in every category and sub-category of the NHTSA testing.

DriveSpark Thinks!

The Tesla Model X's crash test results will surprise most Tesla naysayers. However for Tesla owners it is something they've come to expect, considering the base Model X 75D costs $82,500 (Rs 53.07 lakhs).
