Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Concept Unveiled

The Maybach 6 Cabriolet features a retractable roof and a new interior with a plush two-seat layout. The front fascia of the car sports wide grille, long sweeping bonnet and sleek LED headlights. The rear end gets extended boat-style design and wide OLED tail lights.

The concept car has a extreme rearward seating position. The stretched proportions and aesthetic elements are inspired by the design of the luxury cars from the 1940s and 1950s.

The prominent highlight of the Maybach 6 Cabriolet is the interior with quilted white Nappa leather. The dashboard features touch-sensitive controls and digital display with analogue needles.

The Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet is equipped with a pure electric powertrain consisting of four electric motors delivering a power output of 750bhp. The Maybach 6 Cabriolet is a four-wheel-drive car with each motor acting independently on each wheel.

The concept car can sprint from 0-100km/h in less than 4 seconds before topping out at an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h. Electricity is stored in a lithium-ion battery fitted within the floorplan. Mercedes claims a driving range of 500km on the European test cycle. A 350kW quick charge function will provide a range of 100km in just five minutes.
