Honda HR-V Facelift images leaked: Honda HR-V crossover facelift has been leaked on the internet ahead of its launch in India.
We have already reported about Honda's upcoming cars at the Auto Expo 2018. The Japanese automaker aims to launch six new products in the country by 2020. And the HR-V facelift is also one of them. Now, a leaked image has surfaced on the internet, revealing the Japan-spec HR-V facelift.

The leaked image of the HR-V facelift reveals the updated styling of the crossover. In the Japanese market, the crossover will be sold under the Vezel moniker, but it will be renamed when it is launched in India. The facelifted HR-V features Honda's latest design language which is seen on the City facelift.

The front fascia of the Honda HR-V facelift features new LED headlamps, redesigned grille, contoured bumper, large air dam and fog lamp housing. The changes are not significant, but it is enough to render a refreshed look to the crossover. The prominent chrome strip with the Honda logo also plays its part in enhancing the looks of the HR-V.

Although the rear profile is not yet revealed, the facelifted HR-V is expected to get a chrome detailing running across the tailgate and connecting the tail lamps on either side. The refreshed Honda HR-V also gets newly designed alloy wheels for the Japanese market. Expect the same configuration to be retained in the India-spec model as well.

The interior of the HR-V facelift has not received many changes. It will be equipped with Honda's latest touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The overall layout of the dashboard remains the same.

The currently sold Japan-spec Honda HR-V is offered with four engine options: 1.5-litre petrol, 1.8-litre petrol, 1.6-litre diesel and 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid unit. Globally, the engine specs are expected to remain unchanged. But the India-spec model is likely to feature 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines which is used in the entire lineup.

The Honda HR-V facelift will go on sale in the Japanese market from February 2018 and later on will be introduced in other markets. The new HR-V is likely to hit the Indian shores by the end of 2018 or in 2019. Honda might also showcase the HR-V facelift at the Auto Expo 2018 along with the new-gen Amaze and the new CR-V SUV.
