The 2018 Maruti Vitara Brezza Automatic (AMT) was recently launched in India. Prices for the new Vitara Brezza AMT start at Rs 8.54 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi).

The Maruti Vitara Brezza Automatic is available in four variants: VDi, ZDi, ZDi+ and ZDi+ Dual-tone. The new automatic variant of the Vitara Brezza comes with a host of new features and updates.

Automatic Gearbox

The top feature on the new Vitara Brezza AMT variant is obviously its automatic gearbox. The Vitara Brezza comes with Maruti's Auto Gear Shift (AGS) Transmission. The automatic gearbox is available on all diesel variants of the compact SUV, except the base trim.

This is the first time Maruti is offering their AGS gearbox on the more powerful DDiS200, 1.3-litre diesel engine. Maruti offers the AGS transmission on its smaller diesel engines available on the Ignis, Swift and Dzire offerings.

New Colour

The Maruti Vitara Brezza automatic model replaces the blue shade on the outgoing model with a brand new colour option. This new colour is a dual-tone Autumn Orange with Pearl Arctic shade.

New Chrome Inserts

The new Maruti Vitara Brezza AMT gets chrome inserts on the front grille and rear number plate housing on all variants with the AMT. The lower variants of the Vitara Brezza earlier used to come with body-coloured number plate housing and the front grille.

All-Black Theme

The inside of the new Maruti Vitara Brezza features an all-black interiors. This includes a black dashboard and upholstery.

The new compact-SUV offering from Maruti also gets a set of new blacked-out alloy wheels.

Additional Features

The Maruti Vitara Brezza AMT features additional safety features. These include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, high-speed alerts and ISOFIX child seat anchors as standard across all its variants.

Other standard features include a seven-inch SmartPlay Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Cruise Control, Twin-Pod Instrument Cluster, Automatic Climate Control and Variable Mood Lighting in the top variant.
