Force Gurkha Double-Cab Pickup Spied For The First Time In India – Check Out Details & Images
The double-cab pickup version of the Force Gurkha has been spotted testing in India without any camouflage. However, a closer look reveals that the double-cab version of the spied Gurkha is not a workhorse but a lifestyle model.
Diving into details, the spied Force Gurkha double-cab version does not sport a physically separated load bay such as the Toyota Hilux or Isuzu V-Cross. Furthermore, unlike most pickup SUVs, the double-cab pickup version of the Force Gurkha sports a side-hinged tailgate.'

That being said, an Indonesian-based Republik Motor showcased a double-cab pickup SUV at the Indo Defence Expo and Forum. This model was dubbed the 'Ksatria' and it was based on the Force Gurkha SUV.
While the Ksatria SUVs will be initially sold to government agencies in Indonesia, we expect the double-cab pickup version of the Force Gurkha SUV to be primarily designed to attract lifestyle buyers in India.

Coming to the powertrain, the double-cab pickup version of the Force Gurkha SUV is likely to be powered by a 2.6-litre, turbocharged, diesel engine from the 3-door version of the Force Gurkha SUV. This engine produces 91bhp of peak power and 250 Nm of peak torque.
On top of that, the Force Gurkha double-cab version is likely to sport a 5-speed manual gearbox along with a robust four-wheel drive system with a low-range gearbox and mechanically locking differentials at both ends.

It is also worth mentioning that the spied double-cab version of the Force Gurkha SUV features a significantly longer wheelbase. However, the additional wheelbase seems to only benefit the loading area rather than the last-row legroom.
Thoughts About The Double-Cab Version Of The Gurkha SUV
The recently spied double-cab pickup version of the Force Gurkha SUV looks identical to the Ksatria SUV showcased at the Indo Defence Expo. Moreover, we expect the launch of this model to further boost overall sales for Force Motors.
