Hyundai Creta Adventure & Alcazar Adventure Names Trademarked – Check Out All Details
Though Hyundai Creta continues to be the best-selling SUV in its segment, the launch of the Kia Seltos facelift and the upcoming Honda Elevate SUV is expected to eat into the sales figures of the Creta SUV.
As such, Hyundai India needs something to attract C-segment SUV customers. To do this, the standard exercise in the automobile industry is to launch a special edition model with a few additional goodies.

Since Hyundai India already knows about the launch of the Kia Seltos facelift, the company seems to have been working on a more substantial special edition of the Creta SUV. In fact, Hyundai has trademarked the Creta Adventure and Alcazar Adventure nameplates in the country.
Given the 'Adventure' name, we expect the upcoming Hyundai Creta Adventure and Hyundai Alcazar Adventure SUVs to come with more rugged design elements. In fact, we also expect the model to feature redesigned front and rear bumpers with more prominent-looking faux skid plates.

In addition to these, we also expect the upcoming Hyundai Creta Adventure and Hyundai Alcazar Adventure SUVs to feature different front grilles, roof rails, and alloy wheels as well. Moreover, the interior upholstery could also feature different colour schemes.
That being said, we expect the upcoming Hyundai Creta Adventure and Hyundai Alcazar Adventure SUVs to be based on the top two trim levels. On top of that, we do not expect Hyundai to make any changes to the powertrains of the upcoming 'Adventure' editions of both SUVs.
As such, we expect the upcoming Hyundai Creta Adventure to be offered in two engine options. The 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated, petrol engine puts out 113bhp and 144Nm of torque, and this engine can be specified with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox.
On the other hand, the 1.5-litre, turbocharged diesel engine produces 114bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. This engine also comes with a choice of manual and automatic transmission. However, the latter is a 6-speed torque convertor unit.
In the Hyundai Alcazar, the petrol engine is a more powerful turbocharged version with 158bhp and 253Nm of peak torque. This engine can be specified with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
Thoughts About The Hyundai Creta & Alcazar Adventure
With the launch of the Hyundai Creta Adventure and Hyundai Alcazar Adventure SUVs, we expect the South Korean automaker to successfully attract a decent number of potential customers to its showroom.
