Variants & Price
The newly launched Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV is available in two variants - GLC 300 4MATIC, and GLC 220d 4MATIC. Out of these two variants, the Mercedes GLC 300 4MATIC is priced at Rs 73.5 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the GLC 220d 4Matic is priced at Rs 74.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Exterior
The new Mercedes GLC SUV looks very athletic compared to its predecessor. Also, the model looks very elegant and classy with its clean lines and curves. Overall, the new Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV looks very premium and sophisticated.
In terms of size, the new GLC SUV measures 4,716mm long, 2,075mm wide, and 1,650mm tall. This means the newer model is 60mm longer, 21mm narrower, and 4mm lower than its predecessor.

Interior & Features

Powertrain
The newly launched Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder petrol engine. This 4-pot engine is tuned to produce 254bhp and 400Nm of peak torque.
On the other hand, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 220d 4MATIC SUV comes equipped with a 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder diesel engine. However, this engine is tuned to produce 194.4bhp and 440Nm of torque.

Both powertrain systems come mated to a 9-speed gearbox and send power to all four wheels. On top of that, both these powertrains feature a 48-volt mild-hybrid system with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) capable of boosting both the powertrains with an additional 23bhp and 200Nm of torque.
Performance
Performance-wise, the new Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC SUV is capable of sprinting to 100km/h in just 6.2 seconds. Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz claims that model can deliver a fuel efficiency of 14.72km/l.

On the other hand, the GLC 220d 4Matic can sprint to 100km/h in 8 seconds. However, being a diesel, this variant is even more fuel efficient and it is capable of delivering a mileage of 19.47km/l.
