Tata Motors has launched the Red Dark Editions of the Nexon, Harrier & Safari SUVs in India. Like the Dark edition models before them, the new Red Dark Edition models bring cosmetic upgrades to all three SUVs along with feature upgrades including ADAS and 10.25-inch touchscreens for the two larger vehicles.
Prices for the Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition lineup start at Rs 12.35 lakh and go all the way to Rs 14.35 Lakh. The Tata Harrier Red Dark Range starts at Rs 21.77 lakh for the manual version with the automatic variant commanding a price tag of Rs 24.07 lakh.
The Tata Safari Red Dark Edition is offered in both 7 and 6-seater guises. The 7-seater Safari Red Dark lineup starts at Rs 22.61 lakh and goes up to Rs 24.91 lakh while the 6-seater variant commands an extra premium of Rs 10,000 (Please note that all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).

So what do the new Red Dark Editions of the Nexon, Harrier and Safari bring to the table? Red Dark Editions of all three SUVs feature Tata's Oberon Black paint scheme along with Zircon red inserts in the front grille, Red Dark Logo on the fenders and Blackstone alloy wheels. While the Nexon Red Dark rides on 16-inch alloys, both the Safari & harrier Red Dark variants sport 18-inch wheels.
The interiors of all three SUVs are also quite similar with the Carnelian Red Leatherette seats that are complimented by the grab handles on the doors and centre console that are done up in the same coloured material. All three SUVs also feature Steel Black dashboards with Piano Black accents on the steering wheel, console and doors.
The seats on the Harrier and Safari Red Dark Editions also feature diamond quilting. The Red Dark Editions of the two larger Tata SUVs also feature 6 Way powered Driver seats with Memory and Welcome functions, 4-way powered Co-Driver seats with electric Boss mode and a large panoramic sunroof.
Also seen is a 7-inch TFT instrument panel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display with 200+ voice commands in six languages and upgraded safety tech in the form of Advanced Driver Aid Systems like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Change Alert.
