Tata Motors Commenced The Deliveries Of The New Tata Safari Facelift SUV In India
Tata Motors has commenced the deliveries of the newly launched Tata Safari facelift SUV during this festive season.
As such, we can see more examples of the new Tata Safari facelift SUV on the Indian roads. Like the previous iteration, the facelifted version of the Tata Safari SUV comes with a lot of road presence, and this characteristic has been further enhanced as well.

Tata Safari's primary rival is the Mahindra XUV700, and this model continues to perform very very well in the Indian market with its long feature list and strong powertrain options. Also, the XUV700 gained quite a lot of traction in social media, thanks to its ADAS tech.
Now, the new Tata Safari facelift SUV also features ADAS tech, and comes with a lot more features than its predecessor. This makes the playing field more even when pitted against the Mahindra XUV700.

As a result, Tata Motors has high expectations for the newly launched Tata Safari facelift SUV in India. Furthermore, since the Mahindra XUV700 demands a long waiting period, we expect some of the Mahindra customers to cancel XUV700 bookings and go for the Tata Safari facelift SUV.
Speaking about the Tata Safari facelift SUV, the model is available in 4 trim levels - Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Accomplished. Out of these trim levels, the 'Smart' trim is the base variant, and it is priced at Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

It is also worth mentioning that, Tata Motors is offering '+' and Dark Editions as well. In fact, the 'Accomplished+ Dark' (6-seater, automatic) is currently the most expensive offering priced at Rs 27.34 lakh (ex-showroom).
Standout features of the Tata Safari facelift SUV include Adas tech, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, paddle shifters, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display and many more.

Additionally, the new Tata Safari facelift SUV also comes equipped with a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, connected car tech, and much more.
Coming to the powertrain, the new Tata Safari facelift SUV is powered by the same 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder, diesel engine as its predecessor. This powertrain continues to produce 168bhp and 350Nm of peak torque.

Like the previous model, this diesel engine in the new Tata Safari facelift SUV comes with two transmission options. These options for transmission include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
In terms of design, the new Tata Safari facelift features a new grille, full-width LED DRLs, vertically stacked headlights, and a new front bumper. The rear section also sports full-width LED taillamps and reprofiled rear bumpers.
The Interior of the Tata Safari facelift SUV looks just as premium and upmarket as its exterior with its new layered dashboard which accentuates the width of the cabin. Other noticeable design details include perforated leather seats and an all-new 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo.
