Toyota has introduced a buyback scheme for new Hilux pick-up SUV customers in India. As such, here are some important things you should know about the newly introduced Toyota Hilux buyback scheme.
Starting with the basics, the new buyback scheme has been introduced by Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) to attract more potential customers and improve sales figures for the Toyota Hilux pick-up SUV in the country.

Speaking about the new buyback scheme, all customers can avail the Toyota Hilux buyback scheme from authorised Toyota dealerships in India. However, there are some terms and conditions to avail this scheme.
Some of the noteworthy terms and conditions include that the buyback scheme can only be availed through Toyota Financial Services and the purchased Hilux pick-up SUV must not have exceeded 3 years or 65,000km.

That being said, according to the newly introduced Toyota Hilux buyback scheme, customers can sell their Toyota Hilux pick-up SUV back to the dealer at 70 per cent of the price after three years.
In terms of pricing, Toyota recently revised the prices for all variants of the Hilux in India and the base 'Standard' variant received a massive price cut of Rs 3.59 lakh. As a result, prices for the Toyota Hilux pick-up SUV now start from Rs 30.40 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

However, prices for the 'High' trim level of the Toyota Hilux pick-up SUV has been hiked, and the manual variant in this trim level is now priced at Rs 37.15 lakh (ex-showroom, India), whereas the automatic variant now costs Rs 37.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
In terms of powertrain, the Toyota Hilux is powered by a 2.8-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine with 201bhp of power and 500Nm of torque (Torque is limited to 420Nm in the manual variant ). Also, customers can specify this powertrain with either a 6-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission.
On top of that, Toyota Hilux features a robust 4WD system with a low-range transfer case, electronic differential locks and a limited-slip differential for improved off-road ability. Toyota also claims that the new Hilux pick-up SUV can wade through 700mm of water.
