The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been launched, continuing its reign as the top-selling sedan in India. Known for its style and performance, this fourth-generation model introduces enhanced features and safety measures. It stands out with a 5-star GNCAP rating for adult protection and 4 stars for child safety, marking it as the first Maruti car to achieve such ratings.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Price
Maruti Suzuki has introduced competitive pricing for the new Dzire across its variants. The petrol manual models start at Rs 6.79 lakh for the LXI variant, rising to Rs 9.69 lakh for the ZXI+. Automated Gear Shift (AGS) versions begin at Rs 8.24 lakh, while CNG options are available from Rs 8.74 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom and valid until 31st December 2024.

The exterior of the new Dzire boasts a large front grille with horizontal slats, sleek LED DRLs, and Y-shaped LED tail lamps connected by a chrome strip. It also features new dual-tone alloy wheels measuring 15 inches. The car's dimensions include a length of 3,995 mm, width of 1,735 mm, height of 1,525 mm, wheelbase of 2,450 mm, ground clearance of 163 mm, and boot space of 382 litres.

Inside, the Dzire offers a premium feel with a light beige and black cabin accented by wooden trims on the dashboard and silver highlights. Depending on the trim level, buyers can choose between fabric or premium leatherette upholstery. A standout feature is the segment-first single-pane sunroof in this sub-4m compact sedan category.
The Dzire's safety features include six airbags standard across all models along with electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD technology (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), reverse parking camera assistance system cruise control functionality push-button start/stop mechanism among others ensuring maximum protection while driving.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Engine Specifications
The engine lineup sees changes with a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine replacing the previous K-Series unit. This engine delivers 81 hp power and 112 Nm torque paired with either a five-speed manual or AMT transmission. Fuel efficiency is impressive at 24.79 km/l for manual variants and up to 25.71 km/l for automatic ones.

Additionally, Maruti has confirmed that CNG variants are available from launch rather than later as initially expected. The CNG version offers an excellent mileage of 33.73 km/kg and is available on mid-spec Vxi and Zxi trims.
