2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Variants Explained - Prices, Feature List & More
Maruti Suzuki launched the fourth-generation Dzire in India on the 11th of November, revealing the nation's most popular sedan in its newest avatar. The new 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is offered in four distinct variant levels - LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+.
All four trim levels are offered with the petrol-powered Z12 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine and the 5-speed manual transmission with only the LXI missing out on the 5-speed AMT gearbox. Additionally, the VXI and LXI trim levels are also offered with CNG power.
So what exactly do you get with each variant of the all-new 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire? Let's take a deep dive into all four variants of the new Dzire to help you ascertain which one should grace your driveway in the near future.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire LXI
The base variant of the new Dzire is surprisingly feature-packed. Priced at Rs 6.79 lakh, the 2024 Dzire LXI is offered in only the petrol manual guise. In terms of features, the new Dzire LXI sports projector halogen headlights, LED taillights, black door handles, ORVMs and a spoiler on the boot lid. The Dzire LXI rides on 14-inch steel wheels.
Step inside the new Dzire's base variant and you'll be greeted by the car's signature beige and black dual-tone interior theme with beige fabric upholstery. You also get power windows, manual AC, and analogue instrument dials with a MID between them, ahead of which sits a tilt-adjustable steering wheel. No infotainment option is on offer with the Dzire LXI.
In terms of safety kit, the base-spec Dzire LXI sports 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, Hill-Hold Assist, 3-point seatbelts along with seat belt reminder for all seats, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, a rear defogger and reverse parking sensors.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire VXI
The second variant level of the new 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is offered in both petrol and CNG guises with the former offered with both manual and AMT gearbox options. The Dzire VXI Petrol manual is priced at Rs 7.79 lakh while the AMT variant costs Rs 8.24 lakh. The Dzire VXI CNG is priced at Rs 8.74 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
The VXI variant of the new 2024 Dzire sedan takes the LXI's features and builds on it with a host of upgrades. These include external highlights like wheel covers for the 14-inch steel wheels, chrome inserts for the front grille as well as the boot lid and body-coloured door handles and ORVMs (which feature integrated turn indicators and can be adjusted and folded electrically).
The VXI's interiors are also more feature-packed with a silver aluminium insert on the dashboard, chrome finish on the door handles along with chrome accents for the gear lever and parking brake lever.
Other features include a height-adjustable driver's seat, a rear central armrest with cupholders, rear AC vents, night/day IRVM, and USB-A ports for both the front and the back. There is an additional USB-C charging port for the rear passengers.
The biggest upgrade the VXI offers over the Dzire LXI comes in the form of a 7-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The infotainment screen is paired with a 4-speaker audio system.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire ZXI
The third variant level of the 2024 Dzire comes in the form of the ZXI. Like the VXI variant level, the ZXI is offered in three guises - Petrol Manual, Petrol AMT and CNG. The Dzire Petrol (manual) is priced at Rs 8.89 lakh; the AMT variant commands a price tag of Rs 9.34 lakh while the CNG version costs 9.84 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
The ZXi trim level of the new Dzire brings quite a few significant updates over the VXI variant of the sedan. External upgrades come in the form of auto LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs, chrome window garnish and 15-inch single-tone alloy wheels.
The interior also gains quite a few features like faux wood trim on the dash, chrome finish for the AC vents and satin accents for the instrument console and the doors. Other highlights include an automatic AC setup with an external temperature display, push-button start/stop and a wireless phone charger.
The infotainment system also gets an upgrade with Maruti Suzuki's connected car tech being added on while the audio system is now a 6-speaker system which includes two tweeters. The safety suite also adds two new features - a reverse parking camera and TPMS.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire ZXI+
The fully loaded version of the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire ZXI+ brings all the highlight features that the new Dzire is all about to the buyers. The top-spec Dzire ZXI+ is only offered in petrol guise with the manual variant commanding a Rs 9.69 lakh price tag while the AMT variant costs Rs 10.14 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
External updates compared to the ZXI variant come in the form of dual-tone alloy wheels, LED fog lamps and ORVMs that fold automatically once the Dzire is locked. The changes on the inside are a lot more significant with a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel, front spot cabin lamp, reading lamps for the rear passengers and illuminated front footwells.
Other feature upgrades include the first-in-class single-pane electric sunroof, a colour MID screen on the instrument console and cruise control. The infotainment screen size is now a 9-inch unit and is connected to Arkamys-tuned sound system. The ZXI+ variant of the new Dzire also adds an anti-theft security sensor with a shock sensor and a 360-degree camera.
