2024 Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 Launched In India: Comes With Launch Control
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 3.60 Crore (Ex-Showroom). The first 120 units of the G63 have already been booked while bookings for Q3 2025 reopen today for the rest of the public.
G63 AMG Powertrain
The G 63, renowned for its handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine, stands out with its remarkable blend of power and efficiency. This engine generates an impressive 430 kW and 850 Nm of torque, alongside an extra 15 kW boost thanks to its integrated starter generator (ISG).
This system, powered by a 48-volt onboard electrical setup, aids the engine at lower speeds with an additional 15 kW. Achieving a sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.3 seconds, the G 63 reaches an electronically capped maximum speed of 240 kmph. For the first time, Launch Control has been introduced to this model, enhancing its dynamic acceleration capabilities.

The interior of the G 63 is a sanctuary of luxury, featuring Nappa leather upholstery complemented by carbon fiber details. It elevates the passenger experience further with a customizable ambient lighting system, which also illuminates the air vents.
