2026 Cadillac VISTIQ: A New Standard In Luxury Electric SUVs With Advanced Features
Cadillac is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ. This luxury three-row SUV embodies the brand's commitment to performance, craftsmanship, and technology. John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac, stated, "Cadillac continues to set the standard for American luxury. The introduction of VISTIQ will continue to propel us into the EV future." The VISTIQ aims to offer an electric option in every luxury SUV segment.
The VISTIQ is designed to provide ample space across all three rows and includes advanced technology to enhance the luxury experience. It features a standard 23-speaker AKG Studio Audio system with Dolby Atmos and Super Cruise, a hands-free driver assistance technology. The SUV can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds using Velocity Max.
The VISTIQ's dual motor all-wheel drive system ensures a powerful driving experience. It includes chassis damping control and an optional Air Ride Adaptive suspension for smooth handling. With a 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack, it delivers 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, offering an estimated range of 300 miles on a full charge.
Jeff MacDonald, North American chief engineer for Cadillac VISTIQ, explained their goal: "From the start, it was our team’s goal to deliver a three-row SUV that provides exhilarating performance and intuitive technology, wrapped in the brand’s iconic design language." The vehicle combines boldness with refinement for a comfortable yet agile ride.
The VISTIQ shares design elements with its sibling, the ESCALADE IQ, such as a swept-back windshield and Black Crystal Shield grille. Its interior integrates modern architectural influences with vertical banding reminiscent of Brutalist architecture. This creates refined lines that balance sophistication with practicality.
According to Bryan Nesbitt, executive director of Global Cadillac Design, "VISTIQ continues the Cadillac EV identity, including our signature vertical lamps front and rear." The SUV features a commanding exterior design with brightwork and various wheel options that complement its look.
Technology and Safety
The VISTIQ offers personalized luxury within its cabin through advanced technology. It includes Vehicle-to-Home Bidirectional Charging capabilities when paired with GM Energy V2H Bundle. This allows power transfer from the vehicle during blackouts when connected to a properly equipped home.
Safety is prioritized with premium technologies like Blind Zone Steering Assist, Side Bicyclist Alert, and Forward Collision Alert as standard features. Optional Night Vision uses infrared sensors for enhanced visibility at night by detecting pedestrians or animals ahead.
Trim Options and Availability
The VISTIQ will be available in three trims: Luxury, Sport, and Premium Luxury at launch in summer 2025. A Platinum trim will follow later that year with additional performance features plus more color choices inside out allowing customers personalization options matching their preferences.
The starting MSRP is $78,790 including destination freight charges but excluding tax title dealer fees which are set by dealers themselves according to final pricing decisions made locally based on market conditions prevailing at time purchase occurs.
