Founded in 1955 by Jean Rédélé, Alpine has distinguished itself with its French-style sports cars. In 2018, Alpine introduced the new A110, a sports car that adheres to the brand's principles of compactness, lightness, agility, and driving pleasure.
In 2021, Alpine Cars, Renault Sport Cars, and Renault Sport Racing merged under the Alpine brand. This consolidation positioned Alpine as Groupe Renault's dedicated brand for innovative and exclusive sports cars. The brand benefits from its historic plant in Dieppe and the engineering expertise from Formula One and Renault Sport teams.
