Deepinder Goyal Expands Luxury Car Collection With New Aston Martin Vantage
In India, luxury cars remain a popular choice among affluent buyers. Many opt for brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, or Audi. Others prefer the Land Rover Defender and Range Rover. However, only a select few purchase high-end models such as Ferrari or Aston Martin. Among these discerning buyers is Deepinder Goyal, the CEO of Zomato. Known for his rapid success, Goyal has capitalised on the rise of mobile technology and the internet.
Deepinder Goyal's journey began with the founding of an online food delivery service in 2008, initially named Foodiebay. It was rebranded as Zomato in 2010. Today, Zomato employs 4,440 people and includes subsidiaries like Blinkit and Hyper Pure.

Goyal did not embark on this venture alone; he started with a team of four. His dedication to understanding the business is evident as he has even worked as a delivery person to grasp the challenges faced by his employees.
Goyal's passion extends beyond business to rare automobiles. Recently, he acquired a new Aston Martin, adding to his collection of exclusive vehicles. Photos of his sleek black Aston Martin parked near his Gurgaon residence have surfaced online. This latest purchase is an Aston Martin Vantage, marking his second acquisition from the brand after buying an Aston Martin DB12 earlier in March.
The Aston Martin Vantage is a two-door coupe with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 3.99 crores. The car's exterior has undergone significant changes, featuring a large front grille and high-performance LED headlamps. It rides on 21-inch alloy wheels and includes a rear diffuser for enhanced aerodynamics. Inside, the car boasts an upgraded interior and is powered by a Mercedes-sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.
Goyal is reportedly the first customer in India to own the new Aston Martin Vantage. The model was launched in India in August, but deliveries commenced only in October for those who had pre-booked it. His ownership highlights his penchant for unique cars that are not easily accessible to others.
While these reports are based on information shared on Instagram, there remains some uncertainty about whether this particular car belongs to him. Nonetheless, Deepinder Goyal's interest in rare automobiles continues to capture attention.
