2025 Honda Battle Of The Bands Announces HBCU Marching Bands Lineup With Fan Voting

North Carolina A&T University and Southern University have been chosen as the first two bands to perform at the 2025 Honda Battle of the Bands (HBOB) Invitational Showcase. This event will take place on February 1, 2025, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Tickets are available now at www.hondabattleofthebands.com.

Starting today, fans can vote for their favourite bands to fill the remaining two spots in the HBOB lineup. Voting is open until August 15, and fans can vote once per day at www.hondabattleofthebands.com. The final lineup will be announced on September 10.

The selection process this year includes a unique challenge where North Carolina A&T University and Southern University will invite two other eligible bands to join them. Jennifer Thomas, senior vice president of Corporate Affairs at American Honda Motor Co., Inc., stated, "This year's Honda Battle of the Bands band selection process will be the most exciting ever."

Honda has a long history of supporting Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). For 35 years, Honda has provided scholarships and funding through initiatives like the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge and HBOB. These efforts have impacted over 300,000 students and awarded more than $14 million in grants.

All bands participating in this year's voting process will receive an HBOB Legacy Grant from Honda. This grant is part of Honda's ongoing commitment to supporting HBCU education programs and facilities improvements.
