Electrify Commercial And Rocky Mountain Power Unveil Hyper-Fast EV Charging Stations In Utah

Reston, VA – Electrify Commercial, a division of Electrify America, and Rocky Mountain Power, part of PacifiCorp, have announced the launch of Rocky Mountain Power’s first hyper-fast charging stations in Millcreek and Vernal. This initiative aims to support electric vehicle (EV) adoption in Utah by establishing 20 charging stations in the Salt Lake area and nearby communities.

The new charging stations, owned by Rocky Mountain Power, will be included on Electrify America’s coast-to-coast "locate a charger" map. This map currently features over 950 stations and more than 4,250 chargers across the U.S. and Canada. Electrify Commercial offers industry-leading hyper-fast charging equipment, installation, networking, and ongoing operations and maintenance.

Each station is equipped with hyper-fast chargers capable of speeds up to 350 kilowatts, providing speed and convenience for EV drivers. Rocky Mountain Power sets the pricing for these stations and offers a discounted rate to its utility customers. Drivers can access and pay for charging seamlessly through the Electrify America mobile app.

This project is part of a broader collaboration between Electrify Commercial and Rocky Mountain Power to enhance EV infrastructure in Utah. The goal is to make electric driving more accessible and convenient for residents in the Salt Lake area and surrounding communities.
