Lamborghini Highlights Latest Innovations At The 2024 Autostyle Design Competition
The 2024 Autostyle Design Competition, a global event focused on automotive design, was held on October 25 at Villa Schiarino Lena near Mantua. This gathering attracted prestigious Style Centers from around the world. Designers showcased the latest trends and innovations in automotive and industrial design, offering insights into how creativity is shaping the future of mobility.
Automobili Lamborghini made a significant impact with its presentation led by Design Director Mitja Borkert and his team from Centro Stile. They highlighted the new HPEV super sports car, Temerario, which exemplifies Lamborghini's design ethos. Borkert expressed his enthusiasm for participating in the competition, stating, "I’m delighted that Lamborghini has once again participated in the Autostyle Design Competition."
The event featured engaging presentations that allowed attendees to explore how innovation continues to redefine mobility. Berman S.p.A., an Italian company founded by Prof. Roberto Artioli that produces OEM components for major automotive firms, promotes this event. The competition underscores its commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in automotive design.
Lamborghini's Unique Style DNA
Borkert shared insights into what makes Lamborghini's style unique: "It’s always a pleasure to be able to talk about and share what makes the style that characterizes Lamborghini’s DNA unique." This statement reflects Lamborghini's dedication to maintaining its distinctive design identity while embracing new trends.
The Temerario is not yet available for sale and awaits approval under Directive 1999/94 EC regarding consumption and emissions. Meanwhile, specific consumption and emission values are provided for other models like Revuelto and Urus SE.
