Milltek Launches New Exhaust Systems For Toyota Landcruiser, Dodge RAM 1500, And Ford Models In USA
Milltek has expanded its range of aftermarket exhaust systems in the USA, aiming to boost the sound and performance of vehicles like the Dodge RAM 1500, Toyota Landcruiser, Toyota Tacoma, Ford F150, and Ford Bronco. These enhancements were showcased at the SEMA show. The systems are developed by Milltek Corp in Tennessee, a subsidiary established in 2022.
The USA branch of Milltek Sport benefits from over four decades of expertise gained in the UK and Europe. This experience is channelled into creating new exhaust systems tailored for American cars and trucks. The company’s R&D team in Tennessee focuses on developing these products to meet local demands.
Steve Pound, CEO of Milltek Corp, highlighted the importance of sound quality in vehicles. He noted that as manufacturers aim for efficiency, engine sounds often become less appealing. "Our skilled engineers design our premium OEM+ exhaust systems to enhance the tone and volume again," he stated.
The Dodge RAM's transition from a V8 to a 3.0-litre twin-turbo engine exemplifies this issue. While the new engine offers more power, its sound is less robust. Milltek addresses this with Cat-Back exhaust systems featuring polished or Cerakote black tips for improved sound and aesthetics.
The 2024 Toyota Tacoma also benefits from Milltek's innovations. Its new exhaust system offers resonated or non-resonated options for a deeper sound from its 2.4-litre turbo engine in Hybrid Crew Cab models. Both 5ft bed and extended Cab 6ft bed versions are available.
Milltek has introduced similar systems for other popular models like the Ford F150 and Ford Bronco. The Ford F150 (2021+ Supercrew) can now be fitted with resonated or non-resonated exhausts for its Twin Turbo V6 EcoBoost or V8 engines. The Ford Bronco (6th generation) also sees enhancements for its V6 or I4 engines.
Commitment to Quality
Pound emphasized Milltek's dedication to expanding its dealer network across the USA since 2022. By participating in grassroots events nationwide, they aim to showcase the advantages of their OEM+ performance exhausts over standard fittings.
Founded in 1983 by an automotive enthusiast, Milltek Sport has grown into a leading global manufacturer of performance exhausts. With headquarters in Derby, UK, it operates a development centre near Germany’s Nürburgring race circuit and a facility in Tennessee.
Milltek Sport continues to cater to both modern vehicles and classic models from past decades with their OEM+ range. Their commitment to quality ensures that each system is designed, developed, and tested using advanced equipment.
The company remains focused on expanding its offerings for popular cars and trucks while maintaining high standards of sound quality and durability.
