Introducing the New Defender Octa, a model that redefines performance and luxury for the Defender brand. This latest addition to the 4x4 family boasts unmatched capabilities both on-road and off-road.

The New Defender Octa is powered by a 4.4-litre Twin Turbo mild-hybrid V8 engine, producing 635PS and up to 750Nm of torque. This allows it to accelerate from 0-60mph in just 3.8 seconds, making it the most powerful Defender ever created.

The Octa model features advanced technologies such as the 6D Dynamics suspension system, which enhances its dynamic capabilities across various surfaces. The vehicle's chassis components have been heavily revised to ensure superior performance.

Exclusive Design

The exterior design of the New Defender Octa is both bold and tough. It features a raised ride height, widened stance, and extended wheel arches for an imposing presence. Redesigned bumpers improve approach and departure angles, while underbody protection ensures durability over rough terrain.

The vehicle's name is inspired by diamonds, reflecting its combination of toughness and luxury. Each Defender Octa sports a new encircled diamond graphic on its signature panels.

Advanced Suspension

The New Defender Octa introduces hydraulically-interlinked 6D Dynamics suspension technology for the first time on a Defender model. This system virtually eliminates pitch and body roll on-road while enhancing wheel articulation off-road.

Interior Luxury

Inside, the New Defender Octa offers curated selections that set it apart. The Edition One features exclusive Faroe Green paint with Khaki and Ebony UltrafabricsTM PU interior finishes. Chopped Carbon Fibre detailing adds a distinctive touch.

The front row includes all-new Performance Seats with Body and Soul Seat technology developed in collaboration with SUBPAC and Coventry University. This feature allows occupants to feel as well as hear music through immersive audio technology.

Dynamic Debut

The New Defender Octa will make its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from 11-14 July 2024. Orders will open soon after global preview events conclude.

This high-performance model will be available starting at £145,300 (OTR) in the UK, with the Edition One priced from £160,800 (OTR).

The vehicle's technical prowess extends to its braking system with uprated 400mm front brake discs featuring Brembo calipers. The fastest steering ratio among Defenders ensures immediate responses for precise control.

The New Defender Octa features enhanced drive modes that automatically detect surface conditions and optimise settings accordingly. Dynamic Mode provides an ultimate on-road experience by tuning steering, throttle, and suspension settings.

A long press on the steering wheel's transparent logo button accesses Octa Mode - a dedicated off-road driving mode focused on performance. This mode includes Off-Road Launch for optimal acceleration on loose surfaces.

Exterior Features

The vehicle's exterior includes unique grille designs for better airflow, a new rear bumper with a four-exit active exhaust system, and tough underbody protection with aluminium alloy front under shield finished in graphite.

Defender Octa's colour palette includes Petra Copper and Faroe Green alongside Carpathian Grey and Charente Grey. All models feature a contrast roof and tailgate in gloss Narvik Black.

Interior Options

The interior offers two highly durable UltrafabricsTM PU options that are lighter than traditional leather. Standard interiors include Burnt Sienna semi-aniline leather with KvadratTM textile trim in Ebony or UltrafabricsTM PU in Light Cloud and Lunar.
