Upcoming Nissan X-Trail SUV To Be Launched Tomorrow – Check Out All The Details Here
Nissan is expected to launch the new X-Trail SUV in India tomorrow. Despite the model being fully imported to India, the Japanese automaker is keeping high expectations on the model.
Furthermore, Nissan India has already commenced bookings for the new X-Trail SUV in the country for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. Also, it is widely acknowledged in the industry that the model will be priced at around Rs 40 lakh.

For the price, the Nissan X-Trail SUV comes equipped with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 12.3-inch digital driver's display, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, wireless smartphone charging, and keyless entry and go.
In terms of safety features, the Nissan X-Trail SUV includes 7 airbags, automatic headlamps and wipers, traction control, hill-start assist, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and a limited-slip differential.

However, what surprised many is that the upcoming Nissan X-Trail SUV comes powered by a small 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. However, this engine is not at all underpowered and belts out a very respectable 163hp and 300Nm of peak torque.
One of the reasons for the high output of this small powertrain could be credited to its 12V mild-hybrid system and variable compression ratio turbo. Furthermore, this engine comes paired with an eight-step CVT gearbox that sends power to its front wheels.

The Nissan X-Trail also features three rows of seats. The second row offers split-folding (40/20/40), sliding, and reclining functions. The third row has split-folding (50/50) and reclining capabilities.
In terms of dimensions, the new Nissan X-Trail measures 4,680mm long, 1,840mm wide, 1,725mm tall, and the wheelbase of the model stands at 2,705mm. Furthermore, the luggage space of the X-Trail SUV stands at 585 litres, whereas folding down the second row expands cargo space up to 1,424 litres.
