Meike Ludewig Takes Role As New Vice President For Area West At Porsche Cars North America
Meike Ludewig has been appointed as the new Vice President, Area West, succeeding Trevor Arthur. Arthur transitioned to the role of President and CEO at Porsche Cars Canada last month. Ludewig's career with Porsche began at their global headquarters in Zuffenhausen as a Production Planner. She later joined Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) in 2010 as Manager, Vehicle Distribution.
In 2015, Meike Ludewig was promoted to Director, Sales Operations at PCNA. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in navigating the brand through a significant growth phase in U.S. sales. Her efforts have been widely recognized within the company. "Meike has done an outstanding job at PCNA and will be missed at our One Porsche Drive headquarters," stated John Cappella, Executive Vice President and COO at Porsche Cars North America.

Ludewig expressed mixed emotions about her new role, saying, "While I will be sorry to say goodbye to Atlanta, which has been our home for the past 14 years, I am excited to step up into this role and relocate to California – our single biggest sales region in America." She aims to continue the work of Trevor Arthur and his team by supporting dealers and customers with exceptional service.
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), established in 1984, is the exclusive U.S. importer of several Porsche models including the 911 and Taycan. Headquartered in Atlanta since 1998, PCNA features the first Porsche Experience Center in North America with driver development tracks and business facilities. A second center operates near Los Angeles with similar amenities.
PCNA supports over 200 independently owned Porsche Centers across the U.S., along with additional studios and satellite stores. These centers provide parts, service, marketing, and training to ensure customers receive top-notch experiences aligned with Porsche's legacy of performance excellence.
Future Prospects
A successor for Ludewig's previous position as Director of Sales Operations will be announced soon. John Cappella noted that it was evident Ludewig was ready for this advancement: "It’s fantastic news that she will be moving up into this new and critical position in one of our most important markets."
Porsche AG owns PCNA indirectly; its headquarters are located in Stuttgart, Germany. The company's success is deeply rooted in its racing heritage, boasting over 30,000 motorsport victories to date.
The transition marks an exciting chapter for both Ludewig and PCNA as they continue to uphold Porsche's reputation for innovation and customer satisfaction.
