Renault Captur Facelift Reveal Confirmed For April 4th
French carmaker Renault has revealed that the facelifted second-generation Captur crossover SUV will be revealed to the world on the 4th of April. This will be the mid-cycle update to the 2nd generation of the Renault Captur.
The Renault Captur is the French firm's European B-Segment rival to the likes of the Citroen C3 Aircross, Ford Puma, Peugeot 2008 and the Hyundai Bayon. And to ensure that everything goes brilliantly, Renault is giving the Captur a proper mid-life makeover.

These cosmetic changes to the second-generation Captur were revealed late last year when Renault filed a few patents for the updated SUV which showed off the updates to the design.
The changes to the exterior bring the facelifted Captur more in line with the French firm's other SUVs and away from its Clio hatchback with its dramatically more aggressive front end which looks sharper than ever.

The new front bumper features what appear to be arrow-shaped DRLs on the edges. The grille sports the new Renault emblem and is flanked on either side by the updated LED headlights. The rear sports the familiar C-shaped taillights and features an updated bumper.
The interior of the facelifted Captur SUV is expected to offer the larger 9.3-inch, portrait-layout infotainment system and the 10-inch digital instrument panel to more trim levels of the SUV. The setup is expected to feature the latest OpenR infotainment system software.

Under the bonnet, the facelifted Captur is expected to remain mostly unchanged with both petrol and hybridised petrol powerplant options including the turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine, and the mild hybrid 1.2-litre and 1.3-litre petrol engines similar to what were seen on the recently updated Clio hatchback.
Thoughts About The Facelifted Renault Captur
The facelifted Renault Captur is set to arrive on the 4th of April with the French carmaker updating its B-Segment SUV's design and adding more tech to its interior to make it an even more enticing option for families in Europe.
