Renault Duster & Bigster To Launch In India By 2025: Key Highlights & Other Details
Renault is ready to revamp its lineup in India with the reintroduction of the Duster SUV, alongside the debut of the Bigster, a 7-seater option. This move aims to reposition Renault within the highly competitive Indian SUV market, with both models set to arrive in 2025.
The Duster, known for its rugged appeal from 2012 to 2022, returns with upgrades in features and design, while the Bigster seeks to attract those needing more space. The anticipated return of the Duster brings excitement, with its starting price expected around Rs 9.99 lakh.

It promises modern updates like sleek LED headlights, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and advanced safety features including adaptive cruise control. Engine-wise, it's likely to offer a choice between a 1.3-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre petrol engine. The standard transmission could be a 6-speed manual, with an optional CVT available.
Comparing the Giants: Duster and Bigster
In terms of dimensions, the Duster and Bigster differ significantly, catering to different market segments. The Duster, a 5-seater, measures 4340 mm in length, 1810 mm in width, and 1650 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2650 mm and is expected to provide a boot capacity of 594 mm, with an anticipated ground clearance of 205 mm.

On the other hand, the Bigster, accommodating 7 passengers, extends to 4570 mm in length and stands 1710 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2700 mm and a larger boot capacity of 667 mm. It's expected to boast a slightly higher ground clearance of 210 mm, making it a formidable family SUV option.
