Skywell BE11: A New Dawn For Electric SUVs Unveiled At UK's Everything Electric Show
In a significant move towards enhancing electric vehicle (EV) accessibility in the UK, Innovation Automotive has announced the launch of the Skywell BE11 electric SUV. This event marks a notable milestone as it introduces the first Skywell vehicle to the British market. The unveiling is set to take place at the Everything Electric Show in Harrogate on the 24th of May, with sales expected to kick off in the latter half of this year.
The Skywell BE11 stands out with its advanced features and competitive pricing, aimed at breaking down the barriers to EV affordability. This initiative is seen as a crucial step in accelerating the UK's shift towards zero-emission transportation. The BE11's design combines elegance and functionality, featuring distinctive 'razor' LED front headlights, 'Lynx' two-tone 19" alloy wheels, and Skywell-embossed full-width rear lights. The interior does not fall short of expectations, offering premium leather-style seats, wood-style veneer, piano black panelling, and a host of modern amenities.
Among its impressive features are a 12.8" touchscreen display, panoramic ‘Skyroof’ sunroof, keyless entry and start, an electric tailgate, and a 360-degree round-view monitor. The vehicle also comes equipped with a comprehensive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package that includes Intelligent Cruise Assist (ICA), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), and Blind Spot Detection (BSD). Performance-wise, the BE11 is powered by a 204PS/320Nm motor, achieving 0 to 62mph in just 9.6 seconds. It offers two battery options: a 72kWh and an 86kWh lithium-ion battery, providing ranges of 248 and 304 miles respectively (WLTP – Combined).
