Tata Curvv EV Interior Revealed: Lot Of Screen, Lot Of Tech

A new promotional video has unveiled the production-spec interior of the eagerly awaited Tata Curvv EV. This coupe-SUV, based on the Nexon, shares several interior features with its smaller sibling, including switchgear and equipment. The dashboard layout mirrors that of the Nexon, highlighted by a large floating touchscreen, likely the 12.3-inch unit seen in the top-spec Nexon EV.

Below the infotainment system are trapezoidal AC vents and a touch-based climate control panel, also present in the Nexon. Unique to the Curvv EV is a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo and two-tone finish, reminiscent of the Harrier and Safari models. Additionally, it boasts a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster similar to that in the Nexon.

The Curvv EV will be well-equipped with numerous features expected in its segment and some segment-firsts. Key highlights include leatherette upholstery, six-way adjustable front seats with ventilation, a two-step rear seat recline function, front and rear 45W Type-C charging ports, connected car technology, Arcade.ev app suite, a panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate with gesture control, 18-inch alloys, and flush door handles with puddle lamps.

Safety features will be comprehensive as well. The Curvv EV will include six airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), a driver drowsiness alert system, and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features.

The dashboard trim appears to have a silver textured pattern, differing from the standard black finish seen on the Nexon. Although images do not show the center console clearly, it is expected to retain elements like the rotary drive selector, gear lever, and wireless charging pad from the Nexon. The door pads also remain unchanged.

ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) variants of the Curvv are likely to share a similar interior layout as well. For more details on the exterior design of the Curvv EV, refer to our detailed story.

The Tata Curvv EV's prices will be announced on August 7 along with its petrol and diesel versions. Stay tuned for more information on specifications and variant options as we approach the launch date.
