Volkswagen Polo Undergoes Eye-Catching Makeover With Audi's Java Green: All Details Here
The Volkswagen Polo, a favourite among hatchback enthusiasts in India, has recently been the subject of a stunning transformation. A video shared by Brotomotiv showcases the makeover of a first-generation Polo into its third iteration, complete with a striking Java Green paint job from Audi's RS division.
The shop's owner shared insights into the project, revealing that the car arrived in a less-than-ideal state, with significant damage to its front right door and overall wear from its 13 years on the road.

The customer's affection for their Polo led them to opt for a comprehensive upgrade, including a new facelifted body kit and repairs to pre-existing damage, rather than selling the vehicle.
One of the video's highlights is the detailed painting process. The Polo was stripped of its original paint, a step taken only for cars with previously questionable paint jobs to ensure superior finish quality.
The car underwent denting, the application of putty, and meticulous sanding before it received its primer and the vibrant Java Green coat, followed by several layers of clear coat to achieve a glossy finish.
The transformation process also involved extensive detailing work. Technicians replaced the damaged door, sanded the car using orbital sanders for a smoother surface, and polished it to enhance its shine.
The process culminated in the car being reassembled with all parts, including glasses and doors, and given a final polish in the detailing bay to highlight its new, eye-catching colour.
