Automobili Lamborghini Reports Record Year With 10,687 Cars Delivered In 2024
Automobili Lamborghini achieved a record-breaking year in 2024, delivering 10,687 cars, marking a 6% increase from the previous year. This success highlights customer loyalty and an expanding client base, reflecting the brand's innovative strategy in luxury super sports cars. Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO, noted the company's growth aligns with its commitment to sustainable development and balancing supply with demand.
The EMEA region led Lamborghini's growth with a 6% rise, delivering 4,227 cars. The Americas followed closely with a 7% increase and 3,712 units sold. Meanwhile, the APAC region saw a 3% growth, distributing 2,748 vehicles. Federico Foschini, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, credited this success to their robust dealer network and strong market presence across 56 countries.
Lamborghini's product lineup also showed balanced growth across its models. The Revuelto, introduced in March 2023 as the first V12 hybrid HPEV super sports car from Sant’Agata Bolognese, quickly captured global attention. Its impressive performance and design have secured orders extending to the end of 2026.
The Huracán continued to play a significant role in Lamborghini's achievements for 2024. Available in five versions—Sterrato, EVO Spyder, Tecnica, STO, and STJ—it is nearing the end of its production cycle. The upcoming Temerario was unveiled at Monterey Car Week in August 2024 and has already made waves with its cutting-edge design and technology.
The Urus range remains a cornerstone for Lamborghini. The introduction of the Urus SE plug-in hybrid at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2024 marked a pivotal advancement. This model will replace the Urus S and Performante versions and has been well-received globally for its unique design and versatility.
Strategic Transformation
Over an 18-month period, Lamborghini launched three new models as part of its transition to an entirely hybrid range under the Direzione Cor Tauri strategy. This makes it the first super sports car manufacturer to offer a fully electrified portfolio. These developments position Lamborghini strongly as it enters 2025 with its most robust product lineup yet.
Lamborghini plans to continue investing heavily in technology throughout 2025 and beyond. The focus remains on innovation as part of their largest investment campaign ever undertaken. This approach aims to tackle future challenges with determination similar to that which fueled their success in 2024.
"2024 was an extraordinary year for Automobili Lamborghini," said Federico Foschini. "The results reflect not only our product portfolio's strength but also our dealer network's crucial support." He emphasized that Lamborghini is not just leading in super sports cars but is also setting standards for luxury automobiles' future.
