Denon Introduces Next-Generation Car Audio System Designed For Electric Vehicles At CES 2025
Denon has unveiled its first Denon Car Audio Concept System, designed for the electric vehicle era. This system combines cutting-edge technology, personalisation, and high-performance components to redefine in-car audio experiences. Known for its excellence in home audio, Denon now brings its expertise to the automotive world, collaborating with industry leaders to deliver an unparalleled sound experience.
The Denon Car Audio Concept System features 22 speakers and a 1,800-watt Dirac-optimised Dolby Atmos system. This setup ensures an immersive sound experience for all passengers. With channels integrated into the headrests and height positions, it replicates Denon's signature sound found in their premium home audio products.
Denon's collaboration with Sonified introduces hidden exciters that reproduce mid-range frequencies from behind trim materials and within headrests. This design not only streamlines the cabin but also enhances privacy by reducing sound radiation outside the car. The integration of these technologies ensures a seamless and private listening experience.
At CES, Denon showcased a concept within the HMI that previews personalised sound experiences. Inspired by Denon PerL headphones, this technology creates unique audio profiles tailored to individual hearing preferences. By analysing ear responses to different frequencies, it offers unmatched depth and clarity, enhancing Denon's vivid sound signature.
Tymphany's speakers complement Denon's distinctive sound signature while maintaining a compact design and efficient power usage. Drawing inspiration from Denon's home audio design, Tymphany's expertise ensures class-leading audio performance without compromising on space or energy efficiency.
Design and Performance
Denon's concept system takes cues from its progressive home audio designs, seamlessly integrating subtle design elements that reflect the brand's identity. The collaboration with Sonified allows for hidden exciters that maintain a sleek cabin design while ensuring optimal sound quality and privacy for passengers.
Visitors can explore the Denon demo car at Audio Foundry's booth during January 7-11, 2025. This event provides an opportunity to experience firsthand how Denon is transforming in-car audio experiences through innovative technology and partnerships with industry leaders.
