Ford Motor Company Celebrates Six Dealers For Their Outstanding Community Service Contributions
Ford Motor Company recently celebrated six Ford and Lincoln dealers for their outstanding community contributions. These dealers, from the United States, Canada, China, and Malaysia, were honoured with the Salute to Dealers award for their dedication to various causes. Their efforts include supporting veterans, youth programs, cancer research, and job training for individuals with disabilities.
"For 25 years, the Salute to Dealers award has highlighted the incredible work our dealer network does to support the communities they serve," said Henry Ford III. "This year’s honorees exemplify the spirit of giving and the positive impact we can have when we work together to build stronger, more vibrant communities. Their dedication inspires us all, and we are proud to recognize their exceptional contributions."

The Salute to Dealers program was initiated by Edsel B. Ford II and has recognised 166 dealers from 20 countries over its 25-year history. This year's recipients were chosen based on their community service activities, involvement duration, and personal motivation. Each honoree received a custom portrait highlighting their philanthropic efforts.
The award ceremony took place in New Orleans before the National Automobile Dealers Association convention in Las Vegas. The program reflects Ford's long-standing commitment to empowering communities worldwide through a legacy of over 120 years of positive impact.
Chip Miller from Miller Ford Lincoln Sales in New Jersey is known for his extensive charitable work. He supports numerous local organisations such as youth sports teams and high school theatre groups. His initiatives include an employee scholarship program and financial assistance for employees facing hardships.
Ed Bloom of Sioux Falls Ford in South Dakota is passionate about helping veterans and first responders. He established a non-profit aiding injured veterans with hunting and fishing experiences. His dealership also supports children with critical illnesses through Make-A-Wish South Dakota & Montana.
Global Impact
In China, Jack Feng of Zhengzhou Hejun Automobile Sales Co., Ltd focuses on disaster relief and education efforts. He has funded recovery projects after natural disasters and supported impoverished students pursuing higher education. His Harmony Group Love Fund promotes social welfare initiatives.
Mike Marcotte from Marcotte Ford in Massachusetts is dedicated to youth initiatives. His dealership supports the Boys & Girls Club and provides resources for local food pantries like Kate’s Kitchen. They also contribute significantly to Baystate Children’s Hospital.
Canadian Initiatives
Jared Priestner of Team Ford in Alberta focuses on education and children's health initiatives through programs like Fuels the Schools, providing free meals to needy children. His family started Thrive Elementary School for underprivileged children offering a STEM-enhanced curriculum at no cost.
Turse Zuhair Nahason Affan from Sime Darby Auto Connexion in Malaysia leads efforts in education, public health, and environmental sustainability. His projects include upgrading rural school facilities and implementing sustainable farming for indigenous communities.
