Ford Extends Power Promise Programme With Complimentary Home Chargers Through March 2025
Ford is extending its Ford Power Promise, offering a complimentary home charger and standard installation for electric vehicle buyers until March 31, 2025. This initiative aims to make home charging more accessible and cost-effective for customers. The program was developed based on feedback from Ford customers and dealers about the challenges faced when considering electric vehicles.
The Ford Power Promise includes several benefits. Customers who purchase or lease a Ford Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, or E-Transit Cargo Van are eligible for a free home charger with standard installation. This offer is available to retail customers who buy or lease these models from participating Ford dealers.
For those travelling long distances, the BlueOval Charge Network simplifies finding charging stations across various networks, including Tesla Superchargers. The FordPass app facilitates seamless road trips with its Plug and Charge feature.
Ford provides an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty on high-voltage batteries, ensuring peace of mind for drivers. Additionally, a dedicated team of advisors offers 24/7 support, including roadside assistance with charging support.
To qualify for the complimentary charger and installation, customers must purchase or lease a 2024 or 2025 model year F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach-E, or E-Transit Cargo Van from a Ford dealer between January 3 and January 31, 2025. Retail delivery must be taken by January 31, 2025.
The complimentary home installation must be completed through Qmerit Electrification LLC by September 30, 2025. Restrictions may apply based on structural and electrical limitations at the installation site.
Additional Details
The promotion does not require a trade-in and is not available to fleet or commercial customers. Customers can opt for $1,000 bonus cash instead of the complimentary charger if they prefer.
The BlueOval Charge Network's data is based on active charging stations recorded between September 1 and October 11, 2024. Numbers may change over time as new stations are added.
Ford's roadside assistance is available to all owners for up to five years or 60,000 miles from the date of sale. This service is part of Ford's commitment to providing comprehensive support to its electric vehicle customers.
