Since 2022, Hyundai Hope has partnered with Children’s Hospital of Savannah to promote child safety through Safe Kids Savannah. This coalition aims to prevent injuries among children. Over this period, Hyundai has contributed $125,000 towards their Child Passenger Safety Program and driver education efforts. The latest donation will fund car seat safety checks conducted by certified technicians who ensure proper installation and check for recalls or expiration dates.

Brad Talbert, CEO of Memorial Health, expressed gratitude saying, "We are grateful to Hyundai and Hyundai Hope on Wheels for their generous donations to our Children’s Hospital of Savannah. Their continued support of the Safe Kids Savannah injury prevention program and our pediatric cancer program will benefit both our patients and our community and we appreciate their partnership."

Hyundai Hope on Wheels has awarded a $100,000 grant specifically for pediatric cancer support at the Children’s Hospital of Savannah. Since its inception in 1998, this organization has donated $277 million nationwide to hospitals dedicated to finding a cure for cancer while enhancing treatment options for children battling this disease.

The event concluded with a Handprint Ceremony. This signature event involves children affected by cancer along with doctors, researchers, partners, and Hyundai representatives placing their handprints on a Hyundai vehicle as a symbol of unity in fighting pediatric cancer.
